The Position

The successful candidate must be apprentice trained / fully skilled and be able to program, set and operate medium to large capacity CNC Machining centres (traverse up to 13.5 metres and components up to 35 tonnes) using Fanuc, Heidenhain and Siemens controls. Should have knowledge of modern tooling and methods and be able to work with minimum supervision.

The Position

The successful candidate must be apprentice trained / fully skilled and be able to program, set and operate medium to large capacity CNC lathes/Vertical borers (over 2.5 metre swing and components up to 10 tonnes) using Fanuc Controls. Should have knowledge of modern tooling and methods and be able to work with minimum supervision.

Experience & Qualifications

Candidates must be experienced and previously coded in fillet and butt welds on mild steel and high nickel alloys.

Time served or City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3.

Experience in a highly regulated sector preferred.

The successful candidate must live within a daily commutable distance of Atherton.

Full clean driving licence required.
